The Age of Disclosure Circle Jerk

 I have often said that Ufology, in the layman civilian sense of the word, is a belief system that borders on a religion. In its dogmatic echo chamber, there is only one truth - that earth is being visited or cohabited by non-human intelligence.  In this belief bubble, no hard proof is offered or required. The believers act purely on faith, reject counter arguments as debunking, and indulge in fervent proselytizing of their beliefs. This has been the case since the dawn of the modern UFO era when flying saucers, UFOs, UAPs or whatever you want to call them, first tickled the imagination of the believers who so desperately wanted science fiction to be science fact.

Foiled by a conspiratorial “Deep State” - a Lucifer that countered their every move, the believers pushed the notion that these dark cabals did not want the real UFO secret out. Their existential fight, they reasoned, could only be won if some cabal insider or enlightened authority, preferably the current President of the United States or some other world leader. could be persuaded to release the secret they considered self-evident, in a threshold-crossing act of no return known as Disclosure.

They piled on to their beliefs other conspiracies circling the zeitgeist - an assassinated President must have been silenced by these same dark cabals to prevent the secret from coming out, or a secret treaty between the cabals and the non-human visitors was drawn up without the consent of the common man. It is difficult to take these conspiracies at face value given that conspiracy theories typically do not follow the scientific method—they are not structured to be tested against reality in ways that could definitively prove them wrong, which means they also cannot be definitively proven right.

What then are we to make of Dan Farah’s recent explosive documentary, The Age of Disclosure where not one of the prominent voices from the tin-foil crowd are featured among its talking heads – replaced by credentialed government or quasi-government officials with prominent titles, intelligence and national defense credentials and security clearances. For anyone in the public it appears that the Disclosure threshold is about to be crossed. Why else would our current Secretary of State Marco Rubio lend his voice to this documentary? Or for that matter, prominent current sitting senators, intelligence and national defense officials, members of the military, NASA officials, and scientists?

The media reaction is predictable as The Age of Disclosure offers hungry consumers unprecedented rare red meat that does not require click-bait headlines - the headlines write themselves. The public gasps in astonishment. Those who had previously dismissed tin-foil beliefs as delusions of the mentally ill, begin to entertain the uncomfortable notion that if these prominent officials are promulgating that same narrative with conviction, then there must be a grain of truth to these incredible assertions after all. When even the most critical minds of our time like political comedian Bill Maher crossed this belief threshold, I stood up and took notice.

Enter the Disclosure Circle Jerk

Please set aside any sexual connotations this phrase suggests and focus on its more prosaic definition. A "circle jerk" in the context of a belief system refers to a self-reinforcing pattern where members of a group validate each other's beliefs without requiring evidence or critical examination.

In such a system, participants repeatedly affirm shared assumptions, citing one another as authorities while dismissing outside perspectives. The group's internal agreement becomes treated as proof of validity, even though no objective evidence supports the core beliefs. This creates an echo chamber where skepticism is discouraged and conformity is rewarded, making it nearly impossible to challenge or test the underlying claims.

The term emphasizes the closed, self-referential nature of the validation process—the group essentially confirms its own beliefs by referencing itself, rather than engaging with external standards of proof or independent verification. This is a known Intelligence Community ploy of pushing a false narrative that feeds upon itself to influence adversaries, a method first devised by British Intelligence during WW2.

If we examine carefully the history of Ufology, the circle jerk was present from the very beginning, as it is in any belief system. What we are witnessing today however is something far more ominous – a literal hostile takeover or hijacking of the Disclosure circle jerk by official voices. In other words, it appears that the “Deep State” like a malignant cancerous cell, has split in two – one cell absorbing the belief systems of Ufology and taking on its Mother Mary mantle of forcing Disclosure and the other cell retaining the foil role of deep dark cabal.

Yes, I did just say that. And if you are believer, I just shit on your parade, and if you are a skeptical member of the public second guessing whether the tin-foil crowd had it right all along, you are now more confused than ever, and demanding, rightfully so, that I back up my statements with proof.

Before we consider proof, let us first discuss the big questions – why and who? Why would the public be the target of what amounts to an official disinformation campaign, and who is perpetrating it?

Information is power and those that control information the new overlords. We do not need a science degree to come to that conclusion. Look at how modern American society has become severely polarized purely on the messaging pushed out by opposing media empires of left and right and the deluge of bolstering voices in social media.

For more than 80 years, the Disclosure narrative information brokers (the Intelligence Community) did not maintain complete control. Content to share that control with believers, the IC wrapped the subject in a stigmatized cloak of silence that deterred the critically minded from researching and investigating the narrative too closely. This is not conspiracy but fact as evidenced by the CIA’s Robertson Panel.

The Robertson Panel was a scientific advisory group convened by the CIA in January 1953 to evaluate UFO reports and their potential national security implications. Officially known as the Scientific Advisory Panel on Unidentified Flying Objects, it was chaired by physicist H.P. Robertson from the California Institute of Technology. The panel included other prominent scientists and met for three days at the Pentagon.

The panel concluded that UFOs did not pose a direct physical threat to national security. However, they were concerned that public interest in UFOs could be exploited by adversaries or could clog military reporting channels with false reports, potentially obscuring genuine threats.

The panel recommended a public education program to reduce public interest in UFOs and suggested that civilian UFO groups should be monitored due to their potential use for "subversive purposes." They advocated for debunking UFO reports and using mass media to demystify the phenomenon.

This IC driven UFO stigmatization was phenomenally successful. The Tin Foil crowd kept their beliefs in check and confined to UFO clubs and newsletters, and to UFO conferences that neither Government officials nor academia frequented at the risk of career suicide. All the while the skeptical public and the media incessantly ridiculed the beliefs.

So, what changed around 2007 where the origins of the Disclosure hijacking plot can be traced to? I was at that time the International Director of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world’s largest civilian UFO investigation organization and I had a front row seat to the events. When I took over MUFON in 2006, I set the organization on a path to abhor belief and to focus on the hardcore scientific method of quantitative truth. Blind belief in witness testimony was replaced by hardcore investigation based on facts and addressing human red flags. It did not take long though for my reversal efforts to be met with a wall of rejection from the entrenched believers in the organization. I was declared the fox in the hen house and resigned from the organization in 2010.

I also had a front row seat to the origins of AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program) a Pentagon program that investigated reports of UFOs. The program ran from approximately 2007 to 2012, funded at the request of Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, with most of the $22 million budget going to Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, owned by Robert Bigelow, a Reid constituent with a long-standing interest in UFOs.

At the time I did not know that the $22 million came from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and I negotiated a contract with Bigelow for MUFON investigators to be paid as the investigative arm for this DIA contract. Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence officer, has claimed he directed AATIP and resigned in 2017 out of frustration with what he characterized as excessive secrecy and lack of resources. He went public with his involvement, helping to bring renewed attention to military UFO encounters. I have never met Elizondo so cannot vouch for whether he was affiliated with AATIP.

AATIP gained widespread public attention in 2017 when The New York Times reported on its existence alongside the release of Navy videos showing unexplained aerial phenomena. This sparked renewed mainstream interest in UFO/UAP investigations and contributed to the U.S. government's more open recent approach to the topic, including congressional hearings and official UAP reporting mechanisms.

In essence the splitting of the malignant cancerous cell of the Deep State can trace that division to AATIP and Lue Elizondo.  For what purpose? By hijacking Ufology’s narrative, replete with its top themes of ET visitation, crashed UFOs, dead nonhuman biologics - AKA dead aliens, reverse engineering of alien technology, and Men in Black terrorizing witnesses and whistleblowers, the Intelligence Community has assumed complete control of the UFO information feedback loop. On the outs are the civilian UFO organizations like MUFON that have taken a backseat in the narrative.

If we examine Farah’s The Age of Disclosure documentary carefully, we can see that some of its most prominent voices trace their involvement to 2007 and AATIP – Harry Reid, Lue Elizondo, Chris Mellon, and Jay Stratton.  Some like Hal Puthoff and Eric Davis can trace their involvement well before 2007 - the usual suspects who maintain one foot in the world of UFOs and one foot in the Intelligence Community.

The Elizondos and Mellons of the world took on the roles of whistleblowing martyrs who put their careers and physical well being on the line for the altruistic disclosure of non-human intelligence for the benefit of the common man. They are the members of the “D” cell – those who now control the Disclosure narrative. They are bolstered by a plethora of other officials who lend their voice to the narrative.

In the interest of control, the “D” cellers focus on reversing the stigma campaign initiated by the 1953 Robertson Panel in an official whitewashing that serves to attract the public, the media, military leaders, academia, and Government officials to participate in the narrative without fear of ridicule. Rounding out the "D" cell is the US Navy that authorized the release of UAP videos and whose pilots and Admirals have "bravely" come forward to expose the coverup.

Then there is the “L” cell that “D” cell split off from – what the “D” Cellers call the “Legacy UFO Program” in The Age of Disclosure. The “L” cell is the Cosmic Watergate that allegedly originated back in 1947 with the Roswell crash retrieval – a cabal formed during the Truman administration, compartmentalized in the Eisenhower administration, and farmed out to private industry outside the reach of FOIA. The boogeymen of the “L” cell are the US Air Force and the CIA. They are the keepers of the classified data and any physical proof of crashed UFOs or alien bodies, and they are sworn to not let the secret out of their grasp.

As the “D” Cellers like to spout without any proof, the Presidential chain of authority lost complete control of the UFO Cosmic Watergate and instead it now operates in special access programs with misappropriated funds, answering only to unknown cabal leaders, of which even the POTUS is not a card-carrying member, lacking a need to know. This is the true “Deep State” that must be exposed at any cost. Now the war for Disclosure is being waged between the forces of good (the "D" Cellers) and the forces of evil (the "L" Cellers). It appears to me like a choreographed Civil War reenactment where those who wear the blue and the gray uniforms gather for a beer for lunch after battling it out in role play during the morning.

Do I have any proof of what I just stated? Of course not. Plausible deniability is built in to an influence operation of this magnitude. And my “theory” of the cancer cell split is as much of a conspiracy as UFO belief itself.

Plausible deniability can have many layers though. At some point in the future, a US President may step up to the microphone in the White House and provide the much sought-after Disclosure. That Disclosure ultimate truth could be as the tin-foil crowd has preached for the last 80 years a grandiose coverup of non-human visitation.

Or Disclosure may turn out to be a confession that an alien obfuscation layer was put in place to hide an embarrassing but mundane secret. A secret that has been festering like an open wound in the Intelligence Community from actions conducted on American soil against American citizens that were neither legal nor moral. The obfuscation layer will be explained as necessary to cushion the shock to the American people when the ultimate mundane secret or secrets are revealed. This obfuscation layer will provide the plausible deniability for why so many of the official talking heads in The Age of Disclosure were taken in by the deception – in their official duties they too were deceived. The mundane secret was wrapped in an alien bow.

What are the odds of either Disclosure being played out? After having studied the subject of UFOs my entire adult life and having been on the receiving end of multiple influence campaigns that smell more of Intelligence Agency manipulation than Alien visitation, I tend to think it will be the latter. I think a mundane secret is hidden at the core of the UFO subject. If you have read my books Anachronism and The Roswell Deception you will understand why I lean towards the mundane.

I would like as much as any UFO believer for the former Disclosure variant to be true – that the US and other Governments have incontrovertible proof of non-human intelligence either in the form of physical craft and alien bodies, but given that the only common thread I have been able to trace in UFO history is deception of the human kind, I am not holding my breath that will be the case.

How long can the “L” and “D” Cellers battle it out without surfacing any concrete truth – whether that is proof of non-human intelligence, alien aircraft, or alien bodies – or an exposure of a mundane truth for which this whole carefully choreographed dance was crafted? Perhaps indefinitely, and we will all go to our graves never having learned the ultimate truth. We live in a world where reality is subjective and our information overlords get to decide what truth is and when it will be revealed.

The Age of Disclosure tells one side of a story. If the media or investigative journalists truly took the time to research the origins of this movement going back to 2007, they may just glimpse what I have – a carefully choreographed information and influence campaign that has infected Congress and the public. Unfortunately, in today’s media that favors sound bites, instant gratification, and signal overload, I do not foresee that happening either.

As much as this probable non-reveal pains me, I can take solace in one undisputable fact – in pursuit of complete control of the UFO information feedback loop, public interest has swelled up. Just like the public’s demand for the raw release of the Epstein files caught information overlords off guard, the public’s interest in the UFO subject is swelling and may reach critical mass soon.  The UFO Pandora box simply cannot be opened halfway, as once we get a glimpse inside, we will settle for nothing less than all its raw secrets spilling out.
